It is with a sad and heavy heart that my mum and the Sung family would like to let everyone know of the passing of our dear father, Louis Hon Yiu Sung, died peacefully this afternoon surrounded by his entire family in hospital 13th September 2023.

Family and Friends are welcome to call at the Go Sun for the wake, 43 Bridge Street Ballymena on Thursday 14th September from 6pm to midnight and Friday 15th September from 12 noon to midnight.

Funeral service is being held in Henry’s Funeral Parlour 100 Broughshane Street Ballymena BT43 6EE on Saturday 16th September at 10:30am, interment afterwards at Ballee Cemetery.

Family Flowers only please, donations in Lieu, if desired, may be payable to NHSCT Community Care Fund c/o James Henry Funeral Services for the MacMillian Unit, Antrim Area Hospital.

 The restaurant opens its doors in 1966, 56 years ago, we have always been the locals’ favourite.

The restaurant had underwent a few major refurbishments, 

during the time the Restaurant has been transformed into a stylish, comfortable and inviting establishment.

The restaurant is spacious and wheel chair friendly with an extensive stocked bar offering a wide selection of drinks such as whiskeys, gins and fabulous cocktails.

If you are a whiskeys connoisseur, we have well over 150 different bottles 

 from Ireland, England, Japan and Scotland.

We also have a good selection of Gin (over 40) from around the world :

England, Scotland, Portugal, Spain, USA, Ireland and Italy as well.

Our head chef Stephen and Heung have introduced some exciting dishes to the menu including Heung’s Seabass (seabass cooked with wine sauce), Chicken Rendang- dishes full of flavours, if you fancy hot spicy food, why not try the salted chilli dishes or the Thai Curry, few of our home specialities. Our tantalising starters ~ Assorted starters, Salted Chilli King Prawn, king prawns toast to name a few. 

The Go Sun offers a wide range of menus from Lunch, Early Bird Menu, Sunday evening Dinner

and set menus as well (except Holiday period, check for availability)

Each menu offers a wide variety of choice and selection of cuisine foods.
